The HDMI extends HDMI for distances of up to 120m over Cat5e or Cat6 with this TCP-IP Extender. This system can be used in a one to one configuration, or additional receivers can be used in conjunction with simple network switches to create a one-to-many configuration with up to 255 receivers.
Resolution of up to 1920 x 1080 @ 60Hz is supported with this kit and IR control of the source is possible from the display end using the IR receiver and transmitters provided. So you can control your DVD player, Blu-Ray player or satellite receiver while watching your TV.
The system is plug and play, there are no adjustments to make and no switches to set. Compliant with HDMI 1.3 and HDCP 1.2. The kit is supplied with two 3-pin UK power supplies, one for each transmitter and receiver.
Please note that the Cat5e/6 cable must be terminated using the industry standards of T568A or T568B.
